You like to grab a quick snack before dinner
By the time you come home from a long day at the office, you are really hungry. You lunge for the kitchen and get your hands on the first thing you see, without paying attention to whether it is healthy or not. The key to fixing this problem is planning your meals better. You can make sure that you include a very light snack before you get home for supper. Or start looking for healthier alternatives, meals that you can cook really quickly so that you don’t jump for the first unhealthy food that comes your way.
You eat in the car
The lifestyle we lead today are not disciplined, and we end up spending a lot of time in our cars, either while travelling to work, or travelling back home, or travelling to one meeting from another. This means that we may be stuck in a crazy jam when it is actually time to feed your body and therefore, you end up eating in your car. In most cases you will drive in to a drive through and pick up a bag of fries, or any thing else that will allow you to eat while you drive. Instead, pull over and opt for a salad lunch. Take a few minutes out for a healthy lunch to help sustain you through the day.
Working from home
You do not have to travel to the office, in fact, you sit at home all day, and eat as and when you are hungry. When you work from home, you have to learn to discipline yourself. Eat breakfast, lunch, and maybe a few healthy snacks in the middle. Make sure your fridge is not filled with foods that taste amazing but have no nutritional value.
